Packers 25 Bengals 22 in OT
Packers survived a trip to Prep country with a 25 22 OT Win. Rodgers notched 2 TDs and 103 rating. Packers ran well with 133 yards and 6 YPC even with Jenkins, Bakhtiari and Meyers all out. Defense did enough despite missing Jaire and ZSmith and forced two picks of Joe Burrow (85 rating).
Kicking was woeful with 2 Bengals missed field goals and 3 Packers missed goals late in the game and in OT. Packers defense held strong though and Crosby finally nailed the game winner.
Packers in control of North at 4-1 with another big road win.
Vikings 19 Lions 17
Lions made NFL history as the first team to allow two game winning 50+ FGs in the same season. Vikings led most of the game and 16-6 late as the Lions offense had too many mistakes and miss opportunities (Goff 66 rating and sacked 4 times). Justin Jeffereson was unstoppable with 124 yards and the Lions missing CBs. Lions made another great late come back. This time Campbell went for the FG to cut the game to 16-9 as Seibert was perfect 3/3 on the day. Jalen Reeves Mabin forced a big fumble of Alexander Mattison who had a nice day otherwise on the Vikings second to last drive. Detroit punched it in with Swift late and then went for two for the win. They converted a pass to Khaderel Hodge and led 17-16. But with 37 seconds left, Cousins hit Thielen for two big chunk plays and Greg Joseph hit the 54 yard game winner as time expired. Fucking brutal. Lions have some heart and already played 3 road division games, healthy 49ers and Baltimore/Justin Tucker. We’ll see how they respond. Vikings clawing back at 2-3 now. Lions 0-5 and done already in a rebuild/injury riddled year.
Bears 20 Vegas 9
The Bears defense is doing some things. Fields was a game manger with no turnovers but the Bears run game struggled without Montgomery. Carr and the Raiders run game was absolutely shut down. Bears two first half TDs and two second half FG drivers were enough. Bears now 3-2.
