Week 11 is in the books (sans the shit Texas battle tonight). The Lions continue to dominate but the Vikings and Packers will fluke their way into the playoffs as well. Let’s take a look at the hot action!
Packers 20 Bears 19
The Packers won their 11th straight against Chicago. Opening drive, Green Bay had a plan out of the bye and drove straight down the field with Love to Reed for the TD. 7-0 Pack attack. Bears responded with a decent kickoff and moved the ball a bit. Santos (go Brazil) hit a long field goal and cut the score to 7-3. Packers 5 play punt and Bears somehow 10 play punt from Green Bay 44. Woof. Packers and Love drive down the field but somehow a pass intended for Tucker Kraft is picked. Still 7-3. Bears offense did a thing with some Caleb Williams scrambles and Roschon Johnson punched it in from the 1. 10-7 Bears at the half.
Second half, Bears march down the field again but have to settle for a field goal. 13-7 Bears. Packers respond in a big way with a 70 yard drive and Josh Jacobs rushing gives the Packers the lead back at 14-13. Bears offensive frenzy continued with another TD drive! 11 plays 78 yards and DeAndre Swift brings the Lions power to the Bears with a 39 yard TD run. 19-14 as the Bears miss a costly 2 point attempt. Maybe don’t chase points so early as this could be costly. Spoiler, it was.
Packers got the ball but turn the ball over on downs. Bears another long 12 play punt drive. 4th and 3 Campbell goes for that. Eberflus more like Everpuss. Costly costly. Green Bay last chance cooly marches 78 yards on 4 plays to take the lead 20-19. Bears offense does a thing and moves the ball for a 45 yard attempt. Santos kick is blocked and the Packers win. LOL Bears. Packers 7-3, Bears 4-6.
Love 113 QB rating, 102 yards rushing at 4.2 YPC, Watson 150 yards with a controversial catch. Caleb Williams 95 rating, Bears 179 yards at 5.3 YPC (woof Packer run D), Odunze and Moore 65 and 62 yards a piece. New OC did some things for Chicago but the blocked FG is hilarious.
Bears host Vikings (8-2) and Packers host 49ers (5-5)
Vikings 23 Titans 13
Titans punt and then a Vikings fumble to start the game. Titans got the early lead with a FG on 44 yard drive after the fumble. Vikings respond with a long TD drive in 3 plays with 47 yarder to Jordan Addison, Titans punt and another TD drive (16 plays with Darnold 1 yard for the TD). Vikings miss the XP with their backup kicker. Titans 3 and out and Vikings field goal made it 16-3 lead. Titans another punt and it was half time with the Vikings in control.
Titans 3 and out and Vikings punt pinned the Titans at the 2. Titans woke up and went 98 yards with a 98 yard pass by Levis to Westbrook-Ikhine. Titans back in the game at 16-10. Vikings respond with 7 play 65 yard drive and Darnold’s second TD pass for 23-10 lead. Titans get a field goal to pull within ten but the Vikings defense holds with 2 turnvoer on downs and a pick to end the game. 23-13 Vikings. 8-2 right behind the Lions still. Vikings travel to Bears next week in a desperate game for Chicago.
Lions 52 Jaguars 6
Lions are the best team in the league and Doug Pederson might be fired for the Jags. Goff had a perfect QB rating. St Brown monster day without La Porta and Jameson Williams had a long TD and 100 yards. Lions ran the ball well too and played great defense. Biggest margin of victory in Lions history. Lions are 9-1 and Super Bowl favorites. The only glitch was the broken forearm to Alex Anzalone for more concentrated injuries at LB (Anzalone, Barnes, Jalen Reeves-Mabin). Lions travel to 5-6 Colts in Week 12 and have the best offense in the league and a top 10 defense. Watch out world, the Lions are dominating.
