Week 11 NFC North Preview

Analysis Featured

Hello ladies and germs. It’s Week 11. The Sunday befour (F you MKE) Thanksgiving. The Vikings have taken control of the division and fluke beat the Bills. Green Bay got out of their coma against the Cowboys and ole lover Googily eyes. The Lions are heating up with 2 wins in a row over the Packers and Bears (first road win for Campbell). Let’s take a look at Week 11 games

Titans (6-3) at Packers (4-6) Thursday Night Football Amazon

Titans have beaten 6 terrible teams and lost to all 3 good teams they face. The Packers look to run the table with the emergence of rookie Christian Watson (3 TDs against the Cowboys). Aaron Jones (738 yards at 5.6 YPC) is still good and maybe just maybe Aaron Rodgers (93 QB rating) can pull one more rabbit out of his ass for the Packers. Amari Rodgers is cut so he won’t fumble any more returns. Randall Cobb might be back though for those dreamy eyed catches.

Titans have a good run game with Henry (923 yards at 4.6 YPC and 9 TDs) and solid defense (will be missing Bud Dupree and Caleb Farley). Tannehill is back (93 QB rating too) and figures out ways to make plays sometimes. Don’t know if rookie Treylon Burkes will play and WR Robert Woods, WR Nick Westbrook Ikhine and TE Austin Hooper won’t scare anybody.

Packers make it two in a row at home on Thursday night

Bears (3-7) at Falcons (4-6)

Well somebody has to win. Justin Fields is running like crazy but the Bears put Khalil Herbert on IR. Bears defense is pretty bad after trading Roquan Smith and Robert Quinn. Good news for the Bears, the Falcons offense is pretty bad with Marcus Mariota. Is Kyle Pitts alive, maybe he does something. Cordarrelle Patterson and Tyler Allegier are having success running the ball for the Falcons. Tallest midget contest, Falcons blow a late lead and the Bears win on a last second FG by Santos.

Lions 3-6 at Giants (7-2)

Lions are in year 2 of a rebuild but won 2 NFC North games in a row. The Giants are supposed to be in a rebuild but under first year coach Brian Daboll but just keep playing and beating bad teams. Giants defense is 10th, Daniel Jones is game managing and Saquan Barkley is a game breaker still. Kenny Golladay is actually healthy for the Giants so you know he will torch the Lions out of revenge somehow.

Lions are doing just enough to win lately but will need to step up their defense on the road. Goff is 8th in QB rating with 15 TDs and 7 ints but he needs some weapons back healthy (Reynolds and Chark hurt). St Brown is still a beast and will get his yards but unless the Lions run the ball well (Swift limited), they probably lose by double digits. If Lions win 3 in a row I might faint.

Cowboys (6-3) at Vikings (8-1)

Vikings run game and offense isn’t very good other than Justin Jefferson. They are 8th in PPG offense though due to being 2nd in turnover differential. Fluke turnovers, not facing Tua and Justin Jefferson/TJ Hockenson now have them winning/dominating the North. Cowboys are a good test, but just lost to the Packers. Nobody is catching the Vikings so root for them to win at home which helps the wild card for the lowly Packers and Lions.
