Rest in Peace, Ted

Green Bay Packers

Ted Thompson, the former Green Bay Packers General Manager, and architect of the team that won Super Bowl 45, has died.  During his twelve-year tenure from 2005 to 2017, the Packers made 9 playoff appearances, reaching the NFC Championship Game 4 times.  His exit as General Manager followed a 7-9 season in which Aaron Rodgers was injured, and Thompson later stated he resigned due to his battle with autonomic disorder.  Thompson was later inducted into the Packers hall of fame.  He was 68.
