Saints vs Falcons

CYST: Week 14

Analysis Opinion Picks

We’re in the final stretch; both for the teams on the field and for you mooks on FYS.  Can Dan or I make a run and catch Reggie?  Can LKP, Glove and Potatoes break their tie?  Can MKE score one lousy point?  The answers we seek are in the weeks to come.  On the field, the divisional and playoff races are heating up.  Minnesota can strengthen their hold on HFA with a win in Charlotte, but don’t expect the Panthers to just lay down and die though as they need this win to keep pace in both their own division and the wild card race.  Philly and the L.A. Rams square off in a battle of heavyweights that will go a long way in determining who might get a first round bye.  Let’s not forget tonight though when the New Orleans Saints travel to Atlanta to take on Matt Ryan and the Falcons.  A win by the Saints could all but wrap up the NFCS crown for them, but Atlanta needs this win to stay in the playoff hunt.  Should be a good weekend of football, boys and girls.

Lets take a look back at last week to see how some of you fared.  Dan, LKP, Glove and I all gained on Reggie because we all scored points and he shit the bed.  Glove and Jmac got against the grain points for picking the 49ers over the Bears.  I’m surprised more of us didn’t see that coming.  Even losers like Donny and BP managed to score some points.  If they can do it, the rest of you have no valid excuse.  Just go make your picks.  It’s easy and takes less than a minute…like your mother.  Here’s the rundown:

The above only represents games that involved the NFCN or NFCS.  If you wish, the leader board for those who weren’t too “busy” to pick all the games is here.  I’ve also stopped posting all of you who have yet to get a point in CYST.  I know you claim that it is because you’re not picking the games, but we all know that it is because you suck.

DID YOU HEAR ME NATE? YOU CAN SEE THE ‘ALL GAMES’ LEADER BOARD HERE!

Wondering why some of the names have a different background color?  Well, that’s because a feature was added to the CYST site.  If you click on My Account on the top right of the CYST site (when you’re logged in), you will see my todo list for that page, but also a color picker.  If you choose a color there (and click update), that color will be the background on the site in tables where your name appears.

As mentioned above, big NFCS game tonight; a match up of division rivals.  It may not be the Steelers and the Bengals, but the Saints and Falcons don’t like each other too much.  Go, go make your picks.  How do you get to the site so that you can pick games?  Well, that’s a good question.  If only there was a uniform resource locator in the form of a hyperlink.
