Vikings 31 Packers 29

Tale of two halves folks in Lambeau (home of the Vikings fans). Vikings got the ball a drove 73 yards for an opening drive TD. Jordan Addison is back and caught the 29 yarder.  Packers respond with a 51 yard drive but Narveson missed the FG. 7-0 Purple.  Vikings offense stays hot and goes 73 yards in 8 plays. Darnold 2 yarder to Josh Oliver for the score. 14-0 Vikings.

Jordan Love picked next drive. Rusty as hell. Vikings go 46 yards and get the 7 yard end around to Addison. 21-0. Packers another FG attempt and another miss. Woof. Vikings 3 and out and the Packers get the ball. Jordan Love picked again. Super short Vikings field and quick TD 14 yards to Jefferson. 28-0 folks.

Packers turnover on downs drive, Vikings 3 and out, Packers 3 and out but muffed Vikings punt gives life. Unsportsman pushes the Packers back but Love hits Reed for the 15 yard TD. 28-7 at half.

Second half, Packers ball but 3 and out.  Darnold is picked but Packers get nothing from 3 and out. Vikings 4 and out then Packers another drive with a turnover on downs.  Vikings 3 and out and then the Packers wake up really late. 11 play 89 yard drive with TD pass to Wicks. 28-14.

Vikings fumble on Darnold by Nixon recovered by rookie Cooper. 2 plays 20 yards and Love 3rd TD of the day this time to SS Kraft. 28-22 after 2 pointer works.

Vikings wake back up and get a field goal drive for 31-22 lead. Love pick and Vikings 3 and out. Packers fumble by Kraft on the next drive. Turnovers galore and sloppy play. Vikings chew only 2 minutes and turnover on downs but pin the Packers at their own 4. Love takes them 96 yards quickly in 5 plays and get a 4th TD pass on the day. Wicks gets the 2nd score. 34-29. Onside kick fails and Vikings win.

Vikings (4-0) host the Jets and Aaron Rodgers in London. Packers travel to the Rams in LA in Week 5.

Lions 42 Seahawks 29

The Lions dominated the Seahawks with an explosion of offense. Jared Goff was perfect on the day making NFL history with 18/18 292 yards 2 TD day. Nobody has ever completed 100% of passes with more than one throw in game.

Lions started with a 3 and out on a sack. Seattle 4 plays and punted as Lions defense started strong. Lions march 93 yards in 12 plays with a 1 yard David Montgomery TD run.  Lots of Montgomery running and two Goff first down passes (Jameson and St Brown).

Seattle started driving but Metcalf caught a ball tried for more yards and Jack Campbell came in with the hammer of Thor. Fumble and returned by Carlton Davis deep into Seattle territory. Lions 3 plays and Jahmyr Gibbs scored from 3 yards out. 14-0 good guys.  Seattle responded with a 70 yard TD drive with a big play to Metcalf to set up the Walker rushing score. 14-7

Detroit responded on offense again with a 9 play 70 yard drive. La Porta had two first downs and drew a face mask and Gibbs had some nice runs and capped the drive for his second rushing TD. 21-7 Lions. Seattle started driving but it stalled and they punted after 8 plays.  Detroit went 3 and out with another sack on 3rd down. Seattle had late chance but Meyers missed a 62 yard FG. 21-7 at halftime.

Seattle came out on fire in the second half with 75 yard TD drive. 21-14. Detroit answered with a 70 yard TD drive with a 40 yard reception to Montgomery as the highlight until St Brown threw a TD pass TO GOFF for the score. 28-14

Seattle offense hot though and 80 yard TD drive but missed 2 pointer when Metcalf’s knee touched the white. Lions don’t care! 70 yard TD pass to Jameson Williams with a Calvin Johnson slam dunk on the goal posts (it was his birthday and he was honored at half time). Long XP and Bates nails it. 35-20

Seattle another long TD drive with a 21 yard run by Walker. 35-27. Lions 3 and out. Seattle 9 play but punt after a OPI on 4th down. Correct call

Lions made them pay marching 80 yards and 8 yard TD pass from Goff to St Brown this time. 42-27. Seattle drove to Lions 3 but Lions make the red zone stop on 4th down. Still 42-27

Lions are backed up but for some reason try to pass and get a safety on a sack. 42-29 and Seattle ball. Seattle drives down again but Mr. End Zone Kerby Joseph gets his 3rd pick in the end zone this year sealing the game. 42-29 Lions. Lion 3-1 get a bye in Week 5.

Two team race with Vikings and Lions right now.
