2023 NFL Draft Prospects: RB

Analysis Featured

2023 NFL Draft Primers continues with running backs. It is a deep class with one really high-end player.

Elite

Bijan Robinson RB Texas 6’4 215 lbs

Best back since Saquan Barkley and he compares to Barkley. Power and speed with good receiving skills. He is going to be a playmaker for whoever takes him in Round 1.

Day 2

Jahmyr Gibbs Alabama 5’9 199 lbs

Another Alabama RB to add to the NFL.  Speedy back and very good receiver. Some comparison to a poor mans Christian McCaffery. Could sneak into Round 1.

Devon Achane Texas A&M 4’9 188 lbs

Home run threat with track speed, receiving and return abilities. Very light and may not run between tackles as well. Day 2 home run add.

Tyjae Spears Tulane 5’10 201 lbs

Patient workhorse back that is good in the open field. Size and pass pro questions but can be a solid day 2 add at running back.

Day 3

Roschon Johnson Texas 6’0 219 lbs

Zach Charbonnet UCLA 6’0 214 lbs

Tank Bigsby Auburn 6’0 210 lbs

Zach Evans Ole Miss 5’11 202 lbs

DeWayne McBride UAB 5’10 209 lbs
